We inform you that, according to the Italian law (art. 13 of D. Lgs. 196/2003), we will maintain and use your personal information in observance of the personal data treatment regulations. Providing your personal data are not compulsory, but service performance can be impeded by refusal. Your personal information will be collected through screen-based procedures and used, with an electronic support, directly and/or by third party delegates, with the following purposes:
• Related to the use of services offered on the website;
• Publishing the List of Participants, List of Presentations, List of Authors, Lists of Committees, Author’s Profile, List of sponsors.

Every Privacy Policy Statement Acceptance will give rise to the publication of the related information requested. Public information will contain the Name, Affiliation and Country of each participant. It will not contain post address, e-mail address or phone numbers.
The List of Abstracts, which will contain post and e-mail addresses, will be accessed by Conference participants only, either through the website or at the Conference.
In any case, your personal data will not be sold nor shared with third parties. Your personal data will be known only by the people in charge and will be protected by a dedicated user Login and Password system.
If you want to exercise the rights provided for art. 7 of D. Lgs. 196/2003, you may write to the organizing committee, for the attention of the person responsible for personal data treatment: Ms Silvana Nicola at convener[@]freshcut2011.org.

Pictures and videos will be taken/recorded during the conference sessions and workshops. This material will be used for advertising and dissemination purposes (publication on the Conference web-site, brochures, leaflets, Conference Proceedings, etc.)

Which personal information do we collect, for what purpose and through which technical means ?

• Identification data
The following personal data are collected: Name of the applicant, business contact information, preference for attendance to the Freshcut2011 Conference.
These data serve to identify the respondent in order to include him/her on participants list or on the interest list for the Freshcut2011 Conference. In addition, they help us to contact respondents to inform them of any potential changes to the event of which they need to be aware.
• Event Participants List :
The List of Participants, List of Presentations, List of Authors and List of Committees contain the Name, Affiliation and Country of each participant. All lists will be published in the website for visibility purposes and inserted in the delegates bags which will be distributed to each registered participant. Any list will not contain post address, e-mail address or phone numbers.
The complete contact data of the participants will not be published anywhere and will not be made available to a third party or used for any purpose except that stated above.
• Abstracts List :
The List of Abstract will contain Name, Affiliation, Country, post and e-mail address. The list will be published on-line and in hard copy distributed at the Conference, both accessible to conference registered only.

Sponsors
Sponsors data are by nature aimed to give visibility to the sponsoring companies, thus pertinent data information of each sponsor will be published.

Additional information of a personal nature in relation to the service
The contact data provided by the respondent make possible to contact him/her to request a clarification if necessary on the information supplied.

Technical information
The system uses session “cookies” in order to ensure communication between the client and the server. Therefore, your browser must be configured to accept “cookies”. However, it does not collect any personal or confidential information of any kind. The cookies disappear once the session has been terminated.

Who access to your information and to whom is it disclosed ?
The results will be collected and analyzed but not be shared with third parties.

How do we protect and safeguard your information ?
Immediately after submission of each form, your data are inserted in a database which is not accessible to others than the Freshcut2011 Organizing Committee. The database can only be accessed using a UserID/Password.

How can you verify, modify or delete your information ?
Your data will be remain in the database until your request for cancellation.
